Got an interview tomorrow and it’s a 5 hour drive, so I rented this to save the miles on the M. I’ve driven it 2 miles home and I already don’t like it.

What don’t you like?

If you tell it a joke does it look happier? Or does it look like this all the time?

A rental Chevy isn’t as good as an M? Color me shocked.

OMG, did Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder design those chrome strips via phone conference?

As exciting as a bucket of wall paper paste (as the Brits would say). My fiancée had a 2015 before and god was that thing hateful. I hear they’re improved but that’s like saying that syphillius is better than HIV...

Wow, that reads a lot harsher than I meant it. Sorry about that.

From an E90 M3 to a 1.5T Rental Spec Malibu, I think not liking it was expected.

The 1.5 is pretty bad if you are used to any mild level of horsepower and torque. I really like the new Malibu but it needs to be a nicer trim level and have the 2.0L turbo w/ the 8 speed auto.

I had one last weekend as a loaner and I rather liked it. Sure it’s slow, but it’s a 1.5, and it did chirp the tires midway through first from a stoplight.
It rode really great, so you should be comfortable after the drive. And Android Auto was neat. It handled better than I expected, too. I wasn’t afraid to “push” it and the tires didn’t vocally complain. Just don’t set your expectations to be dumb relative to an M car.

I got the sarcasm, and yeah no surprises.

An accurate description of how the design meeting for this car went.

Interior feels too plasticy and the controls feel a little sloppy.

Need to pop the hood and see what’s it’s got.

I told it a joke, kept the same expression.
